Jisoo Park, known professionally as NIve, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, producer, and composer born on June 9, 1993, in Seoul. Initially trained in classical music and proficient in clarinet, he immigrated to Australia during middle school, where he began singing in a school choir. After attending high school in New Jersey, he enrolled in the Mannes School of Music in 2012 but left after a year to pursue contemporary music, performing on the streets and sharing his work online. In 2014, using the name Brian Park, he gained attention as a contestant on Superstar K 6, reaching the Top 9. NIve debuted internationally in 2018 with the single "Getaway," featuring JMSN. He has since written, composed, and produced for prominent K-pop artists such as BTS, NCT, Chen, Paul Kim, and Sam Kim. His discography includes singles like "Who I Am" (2019), and "Tired" (2019). In 2021, he released his first extended play, Broken Kaleidoscope, and in 2023, he founded his own record label, Chapter M, under which he released singles like "Record Player" (2023) and "bath mumble." (2025).
