Frank Ross, known professionally as Nitty, was born on 23 December 1977 in The Bronx, New York. He is an American rapper who gained recognition for his unique pop-rap style, which he termed 'playboy rap'. Nitty's career began with the release of his debut album It's Not a Game in 1999. His breakthrough came with the single "Hey Bitty" in 2002. Following this, he released his second album Player's Paradise in January 2005. The album included the highly successful single "Nasty Girl", which reached number one in the US and debuted at number one in Australia. His music has been featured in notable productions such as the film Sex Drive, where "Nasty Girl" appeared on the soundtrack. Following Player's Paradise, Nitty continued his career as a producer and became an independent artist, releasing further albums including Let's Get Nasty in 2009 and NiteLife in 2012.
