New Age Doom

New Age Doom is a Canadian experimental collective based in Vancouver. Formed in 2018 by Eric J. Breitenbach (drums) and Greg Valou (guitars, synthesizers), the label-defying band is known for fusing post-rock, doom metal, drone, ambient, dub and avant-garde jazz, as well as for its frequent collaborations. After a self-titled debut album of various recordings released as a self-release in 2019, New Age Doom followed up with Himlayan Dream Techno (2020), released on the Busy Bodies label, before collaborating with producer Lee "Scratch" Perry on Lee "Scratch" Perry's Guide to the Universe (2021) and Remix the Universe (2023). In 2023, New Age Doom teamed up with the band Tuvaband for There Is No End, then with Bad Brain singer and guitarist H.R. (Paul Hudson) for Angels Against Angels (2026).
