Murder by Death

Murder by Death, an American five-piece indie rock band from Bloomington, Indiana, was formed in 2000. Their first studio album, Like the Exorcist, But More Like Breakdancing, was released in December 2002. The band's name is derived from the 1976 Robert Moore film of the same name. Murder by Death released their second album, Who Will Survive and What Will Be Left of Them?, in December 2003, followed by In Bocca Al Lupo in March 2006. Notable collaborations include guest vocals from Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance and Geoff Rickly of Thursday. Their 2012 album Bitter Drink, Bitter Moon reached Number 76 on the Billboard 200, marking their most successful release. The band continued to release albums, including Big Dark Love in February 2015 and The Other Shore in August 2018.
