Muque is a Japanese rock band formed in Fukuoka in Mayâ¯2022, comprising vocalist and guitarist Asakura, drummer and trackâmaker takachi, guitarist Kenichi, and former bassist Lenon. The quartet emerged from diverse musical roots, blending pop, R&B, and rock influences that shaped their early sound. Their debut single, "Escape", was released on 3â¯Juneâ¯2022, followed by the EP tape on 7â¯Decemberâ¯2022, which earned placement on Spotifyâs RADAR: Early Noise playlist. The band signed with the label A.S.A.B and released their first fullâlength album Design on 22â¯Novemberâ¯2023, featuring the single "Blue Light" (5â¯Aprilâ¯2023). In Octoberâ¯2024, they issued the album Dungeon, adding tracks such as "Bite you" (27â¯Marchâ¯2024) and "desert." (15â¯Mayâ¯2024). Subsequent releases include the EP DOPE! on 11â¯Juneâ¯2025 and singles "The 1" (28â¯Aprilâ¯2025) and "Level up" (13â¯Augustâ¯2025). Muque has toured extensively across Japan, appearing on national radio and television programs, and has been recognized for their blend of contemporary rock with global beats, maintaining a steady presence in the Japanese music scene since their debut. Their 2nd album, GLHF, was released on April 15, 2026.
