Mula

Lauraine Gohourou was born on February 10, 1998 in Côte d'Ivoire. After completing her vocational studies in plumbing, the young Ivorian decided to take a completely different path, and began her musical career in a more concrete way. After posting covers of rapper Dadju's "Reine " and Singuila's "Misérable" on the Internet, the singer became a hit with Internet users. She turned her attention to the stage, performing concerts in her native country, continuing her work on covers. Gradually becoming more comfortable with composing, she joined the Saoul Squad Music structure, which supported her in her approach and formalized the Mula project in 2018. The singer unveils her first single "Shoop shoop" and joins Sony Music in 2019. Mula's pop interpretation wins over fans, then opens up to the French market with a cover of Jean-Jacques Goldman's song "Là-bas ". The release of "Paradis" (2020), a new hit single that appeals for its lyrical content, gives Mula a wider audience and the recognition of Aya Nakamura. The millions of listens to her hit propelled the Ivorian singer into rap and R'n'B on "Nivakine " (2021), featuring Youssoupha, before unveiling "C'est mort " (2022) and "Need You " (2023), in anticipation of a denser project from her fans.
