David Moufang, known professionally as Move D, was a German electronic musician born in 1966 in Heidelberg, West Germany. He was a composer, sound artist, and DJ specializing in ambient and techno. From 1983 to 1985, Moufang was the lead guitarist of The Ten. He co-founded Source Records in 1992. His first release under the alias Move D was the album Plastic (1995). Other albums include Cymbelin (1996) and A Day in the Life (1997). Moufang performed at festivals such as Sonar and Loveparade. He received the Karl Sczuka Prize in 2008.
