Mousse T.

Mustafa Gündoğdu, born 2 October 1966 in Hagen, Germany, is a German‑Turkish DJ, record producer and film music composer who performs under the name Mousse T. He began learning music at age 13 and first worked as a keyboardist in 1990 before adopting the moniker Mousse T. in 1994 and establishing his own studio in Hannover. His early output included the 1996 Mousse T. EP and the 1997 single "Horny / Bad Boy", which introduced his signature house sound. In 1998, the single "Horny '98" featuring Hot 'n' Juicy and Inaya Day reached Number one on the Billboard Dance chart and entered the top 20 in the United Kingdom and Australia. Subsequent albums-Gourmet De Funk (2002), All Nite Madness (2004), Right About Now (2005), and Fire (2011)-displayed a blend of electronic and funk elements, while collaborations with artists such as Tom Jones on "Sex Bomb" (1999) and Tarkan (2006) broadened his appeal. Mousse T. served as a judge on Deutschland sucht den Superstar season 15 in 2018, and his work earned a Number one ranking on Traxsource’s Top House Artists list in 2020.
