Moon Tang, born Tang Hoi Man on 17â¯Mayâ¯1999 in Hongâ¯Kong, is a singerâsongwriter whose work spans Cantopop, indie pop, and contemporary pop. After studying Communication Design at the Hongâ¯Kong Polytechnic University and spending an exchange year in Copenhagen, she began writing original material, debuting with the EP Dear Moon on 7â¯Decemberâ¯2020 under SEEAHOLE. Her breakthrough came with the viral cover of Mavis Heeâs "King Sing" and the single "i hate u" on 31â¯Augustâ¯2022, which helped secure a deal with Warner Music Hongâ¯Kong in 2022. She followed with the album Water Comes Out of My Eyes on 24â¯Februaryâ¯2023. In Marchâ¯2025 she released her second fullâlength album, 25, collaborating with Marf Yau, Sam Ock, and Gordon Flanders; the album explored themes of selfâdiscovery and adulthood. Subsequent singles such as "å¤æäººæ¥æåå»" on 15â¯Augustâ¯2024 and "æªä¾çæ" on 8â¯Octoberâ¯2025 continued to chart on local streaming platforms, cementing her presence in the Hongâ¯Kong music scene.
