Monsieur Nov

Real name Quốc Bảo, Monsieur Nov, also known as Nov, is a French singer of Vietnamese origin specializing in R&B and neo-soul. Born in Aubervilliers, Seine-Saint-Denis, on September 19, 1986, he built his career on stage, in close proximity to his audience. The man who also goes by the nickname "Chinois chauve" (bald Chinese) or MNV opens his soul to rap and electro. After the album Sans Dessus de Soul (2008), he released Groove Therapy (2010) and the diptych 3.0 Volume 1 (2011) and 3.0 Volume 2 (2012). May 2013 saw the release of the mini-album Pure, followed two years later by the album Cullinan. He then performed for the first time at the Olympia in Paris. The following EP, Evo, released in 2015, features, among other new tracks, "Dollars / Euros". A second instalment, Evo 2, was released the following year. Continuing his short-form releases, he released Babe Tape in 2017, followed by two new chapters in his Evo series: Evo 3 Gold and Evo 3 Silver in 2020. After a three-year recording hiatus, Monsieur Nov made a comeback in 2023 with the studio album, Love Therapy, featuring collaborations with Tayc, Manal, Joé Dwet Filé and Josman. Released in 2025, the following album NOV again features Joé Dwet Filé, this time in a duet with Wejdene, Canadian singer Blynk, and rappers Leto and RSKO.
