Monatik

Dmytro Serhiiovych Monatik, known professionally as Monatik, and born on April 1, 1986, in Ukraine, is a singer-songwriter, dancer, and composer. He began his career as a member of the Lutsk Breakdance Group 'DBS Crew' from 2000 to 2006. In 2008, Monatik moved to Kyiv after being invited by Natalia Mohylevska to work on her ballet during her concert program Real O. His first solo song "ТайУлетаю" was released in the summer of 2011. He presented his debut album S.S.D. (Soundtrack of Today) in December 2014, which included notable tracks such as "Улыбаясь" and "ДыМ". Monatik's second album Звучит (Sounds) was released in May 2016. He performed during the opening of the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 on May 9.
