Mitchell John Benn, born January 20, 1970, is an English comedian and musical satirist from Liverpool, known for his comedy rock songs. He began performing in the 1990s and became associated with the UK stand-up circuit and radio comedy. His musical work includes "Everything Sounds Like Coldplay Now" (2005) and the albums Don't Believe a Word - The Songs (2015) and The Pride Album (2025). He has contributed material to BBC Radio 4âs The Now Show and released the science fiction novel Terra in 2013. His work often parodies contemporary popular music and culture through character-based songs and stylistic imitation. He has also appeared on UK television and radio comedy programming as both a host and performer.
