Misokkasu

Misokkasu was a Japanese rock band formed in 2006 and active until 2020. Initially launching their career in Nagoya’s local live house scene in 2008, they gained national attention in 2013 after being selected for the "Nobuhiko Otani Award" at the Derennos!? Summer Sonic!? competition, which led to their appearance at SUMMER SONIC 2013 in Tokyo. On September 16, 2015, Misokkasu made their major debut with the single "Rising Rainbow", released under No Big Deal Records. Their signature style mixed theatrical rock with humor and eccentric stage presence, often highlighted by the members' colorful costumes, including traditional kimono. Misokkasu consisted of vocalist/guitarist Harukichi Destroy, bassist Blue Man Fujii, drummer Jamboree Kato, and keyboardist Michael THE Dream. On December 27, 2019, they officially announced their disbandment, with their final performance held on February 16, 2020, at CLUB UPSET in Aichi.
