Misha Omar

Misha Omar, born Samiha o Aisah Binti Omar on January 6, 1982, in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Malaysia, is a singer and actress. She was discovered by Adnan Abu Hassan when she was a finalist in the "Bintang RTM" competition in 2001. Although Misha did not win the contest, her career took off with the release of her debut album Misha in 2002, which included the hit single "Bunga-Bunga Cinta". In 2003, she won the "Artis Baru Pilihan" (Best New Artist) award at the Era Awards. Her second album, Aksara, was released in 2004 and featured the popular track "Pulangkan". Misha Omar's third self-titled album was promoted in 2008. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with various artists, including Andy Flop Poppy on "Sembunyi" and Jaclyn Victor on "Cinta". Misha Omar has been nominated for several awards, including the Anugerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian and Anugerah Juara Lagu, winning multiple accolades such as Best Vocal Performance for "Bunga-Bunga Cinta" in 2003.
