Minipop Kids

Minipops, a group from London, was formed in 1982 under the leadership of Martin Wyatt. The group initially consisted of five members and released their debut album The Mini Pops (1981), which reached number 30 in the UK and Europe. Their single "Stupid Cupid," performed by Wyatt’s daughter Jo, reached Number 1 in France in 1982. In Canada, We're the Mini Pops (1983) became highly successful, ranking as the 3rd-highest-selling album at the time and prompting a three-week tour in 1983.
