Min Taka

Min Taka is an Istanbul and Rotterdam-based artist who has been steadily crafting her own sonic identity since 2020, blending elements of indie, liquid drum and bass, synth-driven pop, and hyperpop. Her music explores intimate themes of identity, belonging, femininity, and human connection, while moving fluidly between tender atmospheres and high-energy electronic soundscapes. Drawing inspiration from acts like Mitski, Sassy 009, Cocteau Twins, Kero Kero Bonito, and Charli XCX, she has cultivated a style that is both personal and experimental. Over the years, Min Taka has built her reputation through singles, an EP, and live performances at notable festivals and venues such as Motel Mozaique, Down the Rabbit Hole, Paradiso, and the Istanbul Jazz Festival. Singing in both Turkish and English, she bridges cultural influences while carving out her own place in the European indie and electronic scenes. In July 2025, she released her EP I Think We Should Just Move In Together, which reached over a million streams in its first week. Its focus track, "Boston", gained widespread recognition, landing on more than 80 curated playlists worldwide.
