Milly

Carla Mignone, known professionally as Milly, was born on February 26, 1905, in Alessandria, Italy. She debuted as a singer at Teatro Fiandra in 1925 and began her film career in 1934 with 5 a 0. Milly's work spanned operetta, cabaret, and film, with notable roles in productions like La posada del Caballito Blanco and appearances in films such as The Girl from Scotland Yard (1937) and Black Sabbath (1963). Her discography includes albums like Stramilano (1964), D'amore e di libertà (1972), and I grandi successi di Milly (1998). Milly continued performing until her final recital in Palermo on August 3, 1980, passing away around a month later.
