Miles Kane

Born in Birkenhead (Merseyside, UK) on March 17, 1986, Miles Kane made his band debut with The Little Flames, then formed The Rascals, releasing the album Rascalize in 2008. A close friend of Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner, he teamed up with him for the baroque pop project The Last Shadow Puppets, whose debut album The Age of the Understatement received rave reviews the same year. On the strength of these successes, Miles Kane turned his attention to his first solo album. Produced with Noel Gallagher and Gruff Rhys, Colour of the Trap reached #11 in the UK in 2011. Two years later, its successor Don't Forget Who You Are, produced by Ian Broudie, reached No. 8. After The Last Shadow Puppets' second album(Everything You've Come to Expect, 2016), Miles Kane produced Coup de Grace (#8 in 2018), with the participation of Jamie T. Due to his involvement in the supergroup The Jaded Hearts Club alongside Matt Bellamy (Muse), Graham Coxon (Blur), Sean Payne (The Zutons) and Nic Cester (Jet), who produced the album You've Always Been There in 2020, it was not until 2022 that he released his fourth solo album Change the Show (2022), which featured contributions from Corinne Bailey-Rae and reached number 12 in the UK charts. A year and a half later, the follow-up One Man Band (2023) saw the man-orchestra return to his rock fundamentals, with his cousin, The Coral leader James Skelly, on production. Miles Kane reached his best position ever at number 5 in the charts. Two years later, he delivers a varied exercise in style with Sunlight in the Shadows, charting at No. 13 and featuring the singles "Love Is Cruel", "Electric Flower", "I Pray" and "Without You".
