Mike WiLL Made-It (real name Michael Len Williams II) was born on March 23, 1989, in Marietta, Georgia, and later established himself as a producer in the United States of America. Growing up in a musical household, he began creating beats at age 14 with a Korg ES1, eventually moving to more advanced equipment such as the Akai MPC1000 and Yamaha Motif. His early work caught the attention of Gucci Mane, who invited him to Patchwerk Studios, marking the start of his professional career. Williams released his first mixtape, Est. in 1989 (Last of a Dying Breed), on December 27, 2011, featuring collaborations with artists such as Future and Lil Wayne. He followed with Est. In Nineteen Eighty Nine (2012) and Est. in 1989 Pt. 2 (2012), solidifying his reputation in the trap scene. In 2013, he launched his debut single "23" featuring Miley Cyrus, Wiz Khalifa, and Juicy J, which peaked at number eleven on the Billboard Hot 100. Subsequent releases include Ransom (2014), Ransom 2 (2017), Edgewood (2018), and the Creed II soundtrack (2018), all featuring highâprofile artists such as Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, and Rihanna. His work earned him the Producer of the Year award from HipHopDX in 2013 and multiple chartâtopping singles, including "No Lie" (2012) and "Humble" (2018). In 2026, Williams released R3SET, continuing his influence in contemporary rap production.
