Yukari Ånishi, born on 15 March 1996 in Tokyo, Japan, was a Japanese singer-songwriter and guitarist. She entered the industry after completing her studies at a local music academy, where she honed her skills in composition and arrangement. Her debut single, "First Light", released in 2014 under an independent label, marked her entry into the music scene. Over the next decade, Ånishi released a series of EPs and full-length albums, including Sakura Echoes, Midnight Horizon, and Echoes of Tomorrow, each showcasing her blend of pop and acoustic folk. Notable tracks such as "Whispering Dawn" and "Echoes of Tomorrow" received moderate radio play, while her collaboration with renowned producer Kazuya Hara on Resonant Waves expanded her audience. In 2017, she signed with Sony Music Japan, which facilitated a national tour that covered major venues across Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya. Her work achieved modest chart positions, with Sakura Echoes peaking at number 45 on the Oricon Albums Chart in March 2016. The 2nd mini album, My Gleam, was released on February 25, 2026.
