Michiel van den Bos is a Dutch electronic composer and musician born on 23 May 1975 in Rotterdam. He achieved professional recognition under the alias MCA in the demoscene before transitioning to video game soundtracks. He composed the scores for the studio recordings Unreal (1998) and Age of Wonders (1999). His recording career includes the tracks for Unreal Tournament (1999) and Deus Ex (2000). Van den Bos composed music for the Overlord series, including Overlord (2007) and Overlord II (2009). He provided music for mobile games including Sonic Jump (2012) and Sonic Dash (2013). His discography includes the collaborative recordings One Big Album (2012) and Conspiravision: Deus Ex Remixed (2020). He composed the soundtracks for Age of Wonders: Planetfall (2019) and Age of Wonders 4 (2023). Under the alias Mike Boss, he released the extended plays Taking the Fifth (2014) and Drifting Through Static (2014).
