Metrickz

Metrickz (born October 7, 1990 in Osnabrück) is a singer and rapper from Germany. Born David Orhan Hänsel, the artist discovered his love of rap music as a teenager. From this time onwards, Metrickz released his first songs via social media. The rapper was influenced by the music of the Aggro Berlin label. In 2013, Metrickz released his debut single "Valentina". In the same year, he also released his first album, Ultraviolett. After the EP Kamikaze (2014), Metrickz released his next album, Ultraviolett 2, in 2015, which made it to number 4 in the German charts. This was followed by three more EPs, Phantom (2015), RAW (2016) and Nova (2016). Metrickz released his next longplayer, Xenon, in 2017. The rapper made it to number 3 in the German singles charts. The EP Shadow (2017) is followed by the next album, Ultraviolett 3, in 2018. In 2019, Metrickz first released the EP Reloaded and then the album Mufasa. In 2020, the rapper released another EP, Nie Wieder Winter. The album Synthesizer Symphonie follows in 2022. The album climbs to number 10 in the German charts. The following year, Metrickz released three EPs, Verlorene Liebe, Sonne & Vollmond and DODO. Ultraviolett 4, Metrickz's seventh studio album, is released at the end of 2024. The rapper manages to reach number 39 in Germany. At the end of June 2025, Metrickz released another album, TheRAPie. The album climbs to number 35 in the German charts.
