Merry BAD TUNE. is a six-member Japanese idol group formed on June 21, 2022. The members—Azusa Kuru, Aina Hiiragi, Rito Hinami, Yui Hoshijima, Miku Mikura, and Yumeha Morino—made their live debut on July 10, 2022 at Shibuya WOMB LIVE and soon released their first mini-album Cyder Grooving. In 2023, they launched their first full-length album 2D POP to Odoru Apollo, followed by sold-out solo shows and appearances at key idol events including TIF2023, where they won the coveted Main Stage Live competition. Despite a brief hiatus by Rito due to injury, the group returned strong in 2024 with their second album 2D POP to Choudennou Aoharise and new songs like “Super Clever” and “86 SUMMER FILM” Their performances extended across major stages including SPARK 2024, SUPER NATSUZOME, and multiple TIF appearances. On July 18, 2025, they began nationwide distribution of their latest mini-album futurmin 6mg, with a release event tour running until mid-September.
