Mefjus

Martin Schober, known professionally as Mefjus, was born on 30 August 1988 in Linz, Austria, and works as a DJ and producer in music. His early career began with the 2012 single "Far Too Close" / "Distantia", which helped him secure the Best Newcomer Producer award at the Drum&Bass Arena Awards that same year. In 2014 he released his debut album Emulation on Critical Music, followed by the 2018 album Manifest on Vision Recordings, both receiving Best Album honors at the Drum&Bass Arena Awards in 2015 and 2018 respectively. Mefjus collaborated with Noisia, Hybris, and Phace, and performed at festivals such as Exit and Pukkelpop. In 2024, his single "Sientelo" peaked at number 40 on the UK Singles Sales chart. Two years later, "Step Back" reached number 85 on the UK Singles Sales chart.
