Maya Cumming, known professionally as MAY-A, was born on August 24,  2001, in Sydney, New South Wales, and is an Australian singer and songwriter. She released her debut single "Fools Paradise" in 2019, followed by "All Girls Aren’t the Same" and "Green" in 2020. In 2020, she signed with Sony Music Australia and Atlantic Records in 2021, launching the EP Don’t Kiss Ur Friends in 2021, which entered the ARIA Charts at number thirty‑one. She collaborated with Flume on "Say Nothing" (2022), which featured in Netflix’s Heartbreak High. In 2023, she issued "Sweat You Out My System" and the EP Analysis Paralysis, then split from Atlantic in late 2024. Her debut album Goodbye (If You Call That Gone) was released in 2026 under MAY-A and Sony Music Australia.
