Mats/Morgan Band

Mats/Morgan Band is a Swedish progressive rock group featuring Morgan Ågren and Mats Öberg. Morgan Ågren, born in Umeå, Sweden, is a drummer and composer who began performing publicly at age seven. Mats Öberg, on the other hand, is a keyboard player and composer who has been blind since birth. The duo initially gained recognition as Zappsteetoot, known for performing Frank Zappa's music. The band's music spanned various genres, including electronic, rock, soul, jazz, and progressive music. The Mats/Morgan Band released their debut album, Trends and Other Diseases, in 1996. Subsequent albums include The Music or the Money... (1997), Radio Da Da (1998), and Live (2001). The band has released several live albums, including Heat Beats Live + Tourbook 1991–2007 in 2008 and Live with Norrlandsoperan Symphony Orchestra in 2018.
