Matrix & Futurebound

Matrix & Futurebound, an English drum and bass duo consisting of Jamie Quinn (Matrix) and Brendan Collins (Futurebound), formed in 2005. Their early collaborations led to the release of "Strength 2 Strength" single. In 2007, they released their debut album Universal Truth under Metro Recordings and Viper Recordings. The album included singles such as "Womb" and "Shanghai Surprise" featuring Cat Knight. In 2012, Matrix & Futurebound achieved mainstream success with the release of "All I Know" featuring Luke Bingham, which peaked at number 29 on the UK Singles Chart. This was followed by "Magnetic Eyes" featuring Baby Blue, which reached number 24. In January 2014, "Control" featuring Max Marshall peaked on the UK Singles Chart at number 7, marking their highest-charting single to date and earning a Silver certification from the British Phonographic Industry. Their subsequent release, "Don't Look Back" featuring Tanya Lacey, was playlisted on BBC Radio 1. The duo continued to release singles such as "Glow", "Scatterbrain", and "The Wall" between 2014 and 2017. In May 2017, they released "Light Us Up" featuring Calum Scott. Their second studio album Mystery Machine was released in 2019.
