Marine

Born in Arras, Pas-de-Calais, on March 29, 2000, singer Marine made a name for herself by taking part in The Voice Kids in 2015, then Star Academy, which she won in 2024. Her full name is Marine Delplace, and she grew up in Rivière and Lille, where she studied dental surgery. Trained on the piano from the age of six, she took singing lessons and performed in the Arras region, before taking part in The Voice Kids in 2015. Despite her elimination, Marine didn't give up on her singing career, recording a demo entitled "Ma faute" in 2022. Two years later, the singer entered the twelfth season of Star Academy. Having made it through all the stages since the show began airing in October 2024, Marine won on January 25, 2025, just as "Ma faute" resurfaced in a new version and climbed to 6th place in the SNEP charts, winning a gold disc in the process. A second single, "Cœur maladroit", is released in May 2025, reaching no. 34 in the Ultratop charts in Belgium (no. 97 in France). It heralded the release of the thirteen-track album of the same name on June 27. On its release, it reaches No. 2 in France and Belgium.
