Mariana Ingold Barbé, born on November 17, 1958, in Uruguay, is a composer, instrumentalist, and singer who has been active since the late 1970s. Her work spans song, children's music, and instrumental compositions, including for theater presentations and educational videos. In 1988, she released Mariana Ingold canta a Leo MaslÃah. Her later recordings include El planeta sonoro (2002) and Fuera del Tiempo / Out of Time (2019). She has also shared stages with artists such as João Gilberto, Chico Buarque, and Fito Páez.
