MAP6

MAP6 is a South Korean boy band formed in 2015, consisting of five members: Minhyuk, J.Jun, Sign, Sun, and J.Vin. The group debuted on 10 November 2015 with the single "Storm", marking their entry into the idol music scene. The single "Swagger Time" followed on 24 May 2016, which expanded their presence in both K‑pop and J‑pop markets. In August 2016, they issued the Japanese‑language single "魅力発散Time" under Tokuma Japan Communications, demonstrating their cross‑border appeal. The EP Momentum arrived on 23 May 2017, featuring the notable track "Love Is Gone" released on 26 November 2017, which charted within the top ten of the Japan Hot 100. MAP6’s debut studio album MAP6 the First was launched on 13 March 2019, consolidating their discography with a mix of pop and idol styles. On 10 December 2019, the group entered an indefinite hiatus as four members prepared for mandatory military service, effectively pausing their collective activities. The band’s career is noted for its rapid rise, bilingual releases, and sustained chart presence across South Korea and Japan.
