Formed in Norwich in 2012, the British jazz trio features brothers Nick Smart (piano) and Jordan Smart (saxophone) and drummer Jesse Barrett. The trio, which evolves in a contemporary style influenced by modal jazz and ambient, records three albums on Gondwana Records: Animalia (2014), Floa (2016) and Shadow Work (2017), followed by the three-track EP Becoming (2018). Meanwhile, the Smart brothers are behind the electronic duo Sunda Arc, who release their debut album Tides in 2020.
