Majiko (born 28 October 1992 in Tokyo, Japan) is a Japanese singer whose career began in the early 2010s. After performing drums in highâschool bands, she debuted online in 2010 under the pseudonym Maji Musume, later adopting the stage name Majiko. Her first major release was the EP Mirror on 18 November 2015. Majiko signed with Exit Tunes, releasing her debut album Contrast on 1 April 2015, which established her presence in the Jâpop scene. In 2016 she released the album Magic, and in 2017 followed with CLOUD 7, both expanding her fanbase across Japan. The 2018 single "Koe" and the album Aube (7 March 2018) showcased a more mature sound, while the 2019 EP Color featured collaborations with artists such as Gagle. Her 2019 album Sabishii Hitoga Ichiban Erainda and the single "Grimm" gained attention for their lyrical depth. In 2020 Majiko released the EP Majigen and the album Sekaiichi Shiawasena Hitoribocchi, touring extensively in Japan and China. The 2022 releases Weaver of Love and the live album majiko oneman Live continued her commercial success, with several tracks charting on Japanâs Oricon and digital platforms. The "GHOST" single was released on 31 July 2024.
