Ni Luh Ketut Mahalini Ayu Raharja, known professionally as Mahalini, was born on March 4, 2000 in Denpasar, Bali. She is an Indonesian singer-songwriter and actress who began her musical journey by participating in local singing competitions during junior high school. Her breakthrough moment came when she participated in the tenth season of Indonesian Idol in 2019, placing fifth after being eliminated on February 3, 2020. Mahalini's career gained significant traction with the release of her single "Bawa Dia Kembali" in 2015. She continued to build her discography with notable singles such as "Aku Yang Salah" (2020), "Melawan Restu" (2021), and "Sisa Rasa" (2021). Her debut studio album, fábula, was released on January 23, 2023. Mahalini has achieved notable success on streaming platforms, becoming one of the Indonesian artists with the most monthly listeners, peaking at number 3 in early June 2023. Four of her songs—"Melawan Restu", "Sisa Rasa", "Kisah Sempurna" (2022), and "Sial" (2024)—have surpassed 100 million streams.
