Madeline Juno

Madeline Juno, born Madeline Obrigewitsch on August 11, 1995, in Offenburg, was literally born with musical talent. Raised in a family of musicians, she began playing the piano at an early age before learning to play the guitar at age 12. The talented multi-instrumentalist first gained attention through social media. At first, she posted her own cover versions of songs by her favorite artists. After notable support gigs for German pop luminaries such as Philipp Poisel, Madeline Juno achieved her big breakthrough in 2013: The lead single from her debut album The Unknown (2014, No. 34) propelled the young singer straight into the charts—as well as onto the stage for the German preliminary round of the Eurovision Song Contest. With her second album, Salvation (2016), the artist made her first appearance on the Austrian charts. That same year, she released the EP Waldbrand, which strikes a balance between pop and electro and on which Madeline Juno demonstrated her songwriting skills for the first time with German lyrics. She released her third studio album, again in German, in 2017: DNA reached No. 58 on the German album charts. Meanwhile, Madeline Juno has also repeatedly distinguished herself as a guest vocalist, for example on the song “The Water”, a track by the electro band I Heart Sharks. On her fourth album, Was bleibt , Madeline Juno returns fully to her pop roots. Lyrically, she addresses topics such as mental health—an emotional openness that is rewarded with a No. 25 spot on the German LP charts. Later that same year, the artist released an acoustic interpretation of the album as an EP. Two more EPs followed: Bevor ich dich vergesse and the now bilingual She Inspired Me (both 2021). Later that same year, her fifth studio album, Besser kann ich es nicht erklären, was released. In early 2024, Madeline Juno released another album, Nur zu Besuch. The album climbed to No. 6 on the German charts. In mid-June 2025, another studio album, Anomalie, Pt. 1, is released. With it, the artist reaches No. 8 in Germany. The sequel, Anomalie, Pt. 2, is released a year later in July 2026 and lands at No. 7 on the German charts.
