Mad Sin

Mad Sin is a German psychobilly and punk rock band formed in 1987 in West Berlin by vocalist Koefte DeVille, guitarist Stein "Dr. Solido", and double bassist Holly. They initially performed on the street, in shopping malls, and in local bars to finance their debut studio album, Chills and Thrills in a Drama of MAD SIN and Mystery (1988). Following the release of Distorted Dimensions (1989), they issued Amphigory (1991). In 1992, the group released Break the Rules, which incorporated heavy metal elements, and recruited drummer Pat Flatau. They released A Ticket into Underworld (1993), which featured the single "Meattrain at Midnight". They then released God Save the Sin (1996) with drummer Don Hermann. In 1998, the band signed with Polydor, added guitarist Philip "Moustache" Doyle, and released Sweet and Innocent? ...Loud and Dirty!. This album featured the track "All This and More". Although Polydor terminated their contract in 1999, they continued touring. Later releases include Survival of the Sickest (2002), Dead Moon's Calling (2005), Burn and Rise (2010), the live album and DVD set 25 Years - Still Mad (2012), and the studio album Unbreakable (2020).
