Lucrecia Dalt

Born in Pereira, Colombia, in 1980, Lucrecia Dalt is an experimental musician, composer, and producer known for her innovative approach to experimental music, blending elements of ambient, electronic, and avant-garde sounds. Her music transcends genres, often defying traditional classifications. With a background in architecture and an early exposure to both classical and experimental music, her work has always been marked by a deep intellectual curiosity and an instinct to push the boundaries of sound. Her career began with a foundation in more traditional forms of music, but she soon transitioned into electronic and experimental genres, where she gained recognition for her unique ability to manipulate space and texture within her compositions. Her albums, such as Anticlines (2018) and No era sólida (2020), are testament to her ability to create immersive atmospheres, mixing dissonant, hypnotic soundscapes with her haunting, often fragmented vocals. She has also composed soundtracks for films, including The Seed in 2020 and The Baby in 2022. In 2025, she released new album, A Danger to Ourselves, which featured a collaborative track with David Sylvian.
