Lucilectric

Lucie van Org (Ina Lucia Hildebrand, born July 28, 1971 in Berlin) founded the duo Lucilectric in 1993 together with the musician and producer Ralf Goldkind in Berlin, which is based in the pop and alternative rock genres. They are supported in live performances by Andy Birr (guitar) and Henry Finkenwirth (bass). They split up in 1999. The band released their debut album Mädchen in 1994, produced by Annette Humpe and Andreas Herbig. The single "Mädchen" becomes the anthem of a generation and reaches number 2 in Germany, accompanied by other hits such as "Hey Süßer". The second studio album Süß und Gemein followed in 1996 and the third studio album Tiefer in 1997, both without any notable chart successes. Important awards for the band include the BAMBI for Pop National and the ECHO as "Single of the Year" for "Mädchen" ( 1995). In addition, Lucilectric received the Comet as "Ladies Act" and the RSH Gold as "Newcomer" in 1995.
