Lucenzo

Born Luis Filipe Oliveira, Lucenzo is a Portuguese-French reggaeton artist and producer. His music also features elements of kuduro and hip-hop. Best known for his 2010 bilingual English/Portuguese hit “Vem Dancar Kuduro” (featuring rapper Big Ali), the song was recorded in Spanish by Don Omar (featuring Lucenzo)) and retitled “Danza Kuduro”. This version earned Lucenzo numerous Latin Billboard awards. Born in Bordeaux, France to Portuguese immigrants, Lucenzo released his multi-lingual debut single, “Emigrante del Mundo” in 2008. The song became a Portuguese hit. He followed that single up with “Dame Regaetton” in 2009. The success of his next single “Vem Dancar Kuduro” – and ”Danza Kuduro” – paved the way for his debut 2011 album Emigrante del Mundo. The album featured his previous singles, new tracks, and a third version of his biggest hit, this time called “Throw Your Hands Up (Danza Kuduro)” featuring Qwote with Pitbull. Lucenzo has continued to release singles focusing on the Portuguese market.
