Lubless

Lubless is a Korean pop rock duo that formed in 2014 and officially debuted in January 2020 with their single "Bluebird." The band was created by three friends who met in a band club, sharing a love for Hailstorm, and initially started as a hobby cover band for hard rock. The band name, created by vocalist LENA, combines "Lust" and "Bless you," symbolizing the message to live authentically and follow your heart without worrying about others, offering comforting music to those who feel broken or lost. While the core message remains consistent, their music spans various genres to match different moods of their lyrics and melodies. Many of their songs and album concepts are inspired by fairy tales—stories that, as adults, reveal deeper, often darker truths, reflecting that the world isn’t always as beautiful as it seems. They aim to create music that is pleasant to listen to like a fairy tale but often contains dark, personal messages. Currently consisting of LENA (vocals) and BONGWOO (guitar), the band initially included bassist JAY, who left around 2022. LENA and BONGWOO also compose and write lyrics themselves. Their June 2025 single "Zero-sum Game" immediately entered Melon’s Top 500 chart at number 32 the day after release.
