Los Vásquez

Los Vásquez is a Chilean pop‑rock duo formed in 2009 by brothers Ítalo Fabián Vásquez Gei and Enzo Ignacio Vásquez Gei in Coyhaique, Chile. Both began learning instruments in school and later worked as a flight‑control officer and a music producer before focusing on songwriting and production. Their breakthrough came in 2010 with the single "Tú me haces falta" from the debut album Contigo Pop y Cebolla, which reached the top of Chilean charts and earned a gold certification for 5,000 copies sold; the album became the best‑selling Chilean release of 2011 and sold 60,000 copies by mid‑2013. In 2013 they released De Sur a Norte, a double‑platinum record that produced hits such as "Enamorado" and "Vuela que vuela". In 2020, they appeared at Chilean summer festivals, released "Chica del sur" and "Voy a llorar", took part in the collaborative hit "Rico Rico" with Moral Distraída and Denise Rosenthal, and issued the Marco Antonio Solís cover "Mi eterno amor secreto" before releasing their third studio album Recuerdos on December 27, 2020, supported by a livestream concert. They continued working in the 2020s with live EP projects and, on May 6, 2022, released the single "Miénteme una vez (En Vivo)". On July 26, 2024, they issued the compilation 10 Éxitos Inolvidables collecting key songs such as "No me quería", "Miénteme una vez", "Tú me haces falta" and "Mariajuana", and on November 7, 2025 released the album Por la Carretera via Sello del Sur and ONErpm, bringing together 12 singles recorded between 2021 and 2025 and accompanied by the 2025 collaboration single "La Vasectomía" with Álvaro Henríquez.
