Los Peticeros

Los Peticeros are a Chilean cueca group formed in 2018 in Concepción (Biobío Region) by guitarist-singer Isaac Santander and percussionist-singer Daniel Campos, with a repertoire that combines original “cueca romántica” with traditional rescue pieces and a modern, dance-floor delivery. After building a following at peñas, harvest fairs, and radio spots, the group released its first full-length Esto Es Cueca in 2022, featuring early favorites such as “Afortunado,” “Regálame Tu Sonrisa,” and “Las Vueltas.” Their profile rose with the single “No Te Vayas” (2023) and a debut show at Sala SCD Bellavista captured for a later live release; 2024 brought the patriotic crowd-pleaser “El Huaso Chileno,” issued via Master Media Chile, and the sophomore album Las Dos Caras del Amor, which broadened their sound with songs like “Sello” and “Solo Sé Amarte.” The same year they appeared in the Cuecas Mil circuit with “Más Que Ayer,” underscoring the group’s growing presence in national folklore programming. In 2025 Los Peticeros sustained a quick release cadence with the digital single “Por Dos Moneditas de Oro” and the three-track En Concierto (En Vivo) – Single, followed by “Cuecas pa’ Decirte Adiós”; they also guested on Así Es la Cosa's “Hasta la muerte,” reflecting a collaborative approach across the Chilean raíces scene.
