Lola Amour

Lola Amour, a Filipino indie rock band formed in Muntinlupa, Metro Manila, in 2013, emerged from the merger of two rival school bands and was named after vocalist Pio Dumayas’ grandmother. The group’s early breakthrough came with the 2017 release of the Don't Look Back EP, featuring the single "Pwede Ba", which established their presence in the local alternative scene. In 2018, the single "Sanity" expanded their reach, and the band was featured on Coke Studio Philippines the same year. The first full‑length effort, Lola Amour, dropped on 10 April 2024, including the chart‑topping track "Raining in Manila", which reached Number 1 on Spotify Philippines and earned international covers by Enhypen’s Jake and Thai artist BamBam. Subsequent releases include the 2025 studio album Love on Loop and singles such as "Dance With My Mistakes" and "Misbehave". Tours followed the releases, notably the Raining in Manila Tour and the Album Tour, with live performances at Wanderland Music and Arts Festival and the Miss Universe Coronation Night. The band’s continued output and collaborations, including a duet with KOKORO on "The Moment", demonstrate their sustained influence in the Philippine indie rock landscape.
