Lil Jay Bingerack was born Konan Angelo Wilfried in Didiévi, a town in central Côte d'Ivoire. He began his career as an artist in 2016, after seriously considering becoming a footballer. He is the brother of Eljay, one of the members of the group Kiff No Beat. He declares himself a "precursor of tradipop", blending modern urban music, particularly rap, with the traditional music of his country. At the start of his career, he wore a mask, but soon revealed his identity. In 2018, he put together the mini-album Apollon, featuring seven tracks, including "Motivation" and "Isabelle" . In 2020, the track "Ma chérie" made its way onto social networks and paved the way for a series of new titles the following year, including "Sugar Daddy" and "Espoir". In 2022, he called on artist Keblack to provide vocals on the same track, but in a remixed version, as well as Joé Dwèt Filé for the track "Madame". The same year, he contributed a track by Elow'n, "C'est lent", on the album Le Retour de la Pierre. He also delivered the single "Sauce graine". In 2023, he unveils a new track, produced alone, "Tchiza vs Titulaire". In 2023, he released the 14-track album Mosaïc, a mosaic that blends several musical genres between Zouglou, rap and afropop.
