Lil Darkie

Born Joshua Jagan Hamilton in Los Angeles on October 6, 1998, rapper and producer Lil Darkie began his career at the age of sixteen under the name Brahman, before unveiling his new pseudonym with the track "No Hands" and the Battle Rap EP, released in 2018. Releases soon multiplied at a steady pace of around twenty a year, including "Holocaust" and "Genocide", which expanded his audience in 2019, accompanied by the EPs Super Dark VR, Scooby Doo Death Shit with Christ Dillinger or Swamp Drained and Take This Mushroom. Released in October 2019, "Haha" becomes a viral hit as debut album This Does Not Exist is released, revealing over its length the variety of styles between rap, rock, punk and metal in an experimental approach. This intriguing debut is followed by Yin in May and Swamp in December of the same year, then Boros in December 2021. At the end of 2022, after a first European tour, Darkie teamed up with Dillinger for a very short twenty-minute album, the satirical Darkillinger, before performing together in Oceania in January 2023. Previously, the duo released the Scooby Doo Death Shit EP in 2019. Following a new salvo of singles, the album The Future Is Dark was released in October 2023, a rich collection of electronic, emo and industrial metal-oriented rap. After collaborations with BVDLVD, Bruhmanegod, Crxpse and Teenage Disaster, Darkie presents the single "I'm Going Crazy" in April 2025 , followed in June by the album Yang, a mix of soul, rap and rock, and a North American tour billed as "The Greatest Show in Human History".
