Leyvua is the stage name of Daniel Leyva, a Mexican producer based in Mexico City whose catalog began to take shape in 2020 with two full-length releases, the electronic album Consciousness Extravaganza and the dance-oriented The Internet, issued in August 2020 and featuring tracks such as "The Internet" and "Acapulco Discothèque", alongside the single "Alt". In 2021 he expanded his vocal collaborations with the alternative single "Beso De Tres, Dos" featuring ÃZà VALLE and the solo release "Loquis De Amor". Leyvua then moved into a more improvisational and jazz-rooted territory with the 2022 live album Math Jazz: Live from Amalfi, which included the track "Vose Nova" with Nelly RodrÃguez. In 2023 he returned to studio productions with the three-track Retrofutura - EP and releases such as "Lo-Fi Guitar Beats". By 2024 his focus shifted more clearly toward Latin-leaning club edits and remixes through singles like "Historia De Dos Amantes (Leyvua Remix)", "Vienes Y Te Vas (Leyvua Remix of sonidera by Los Kiero & Sonido Cóndor)", "Sabor a Mà (Remix of bolero by Eydie Gormé & Trio Los Panchos)", "El Sonido Ecléctico de la Noche" and "888", along with dance tracks including "Femke Bol" and "If You Like This Song You Have My Kind of ADHD". In 2025 he followed with "Math Flamenco", "Por Volverte A Ver (Ethereal Rework)" and a series of collaborations around Karen Ramirezâs song "Troubled Girl". That same year he released the ten-minute "Caricias (Leyvua Remix) - Orquesta Salas de Cartagena [Sonido Super Dengue Live Edit]" as a one-track EP, which quickly became his leading streaming release.
