Lee So-ra, born on 23 December 1969 in Busan, South Korea, is a South Korean singer specialising in ballads. She began her music career in 1993 as a member of the jazz group Strange People and released her debut solo album Lee So-ra Vol. 1 under Donga Entertainment in 1995. Following this, she released several albums, including Flower (꽃) in 2000 and Sora's Diary in 2002. In 2004, she released the Top 10 Korean album Nunsseopdal (눈썹달), which was followed by a self-titled LP in 2008. She has been recognised for her contributions to jazz and vocal jazz genres, while Nunsseopdal is considered by many to be one along the 100 greatest Korean albums. She has also hosted the music talk show Lee Sora's Proposal on KBS from 1996 until 2002, further expanding her influence in the music industry. Throughout her career, she has won multiple awards at the Korean Music Awards, as well as releasing singles such as "Song Request" (신청곡) (featuring Suga) in 2019 and a 2025 contribution to the soundtrack for television show The Atypical Family.
