LAUSBUB is a Japanese new wave/techno-pop band formed in March 2020 in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. The members are Riko Iwai and Mei Takahashi. The two were members of the same high school light music club, but formed the band in March 2020 when the club was unable to participate in activities due to the Corona disaster. The following month, "The Catcher in the Die" followed in July, and in December, "Telefon" was released and became the talk of the town on social networking sites. In 2023, they released three singles, "80+1 Hardy Ones," "Michi-tono-Sogu," and "Dancer in the Die," followed by "The Catcher in the Die" in July, and "Telefon" in December, which exploded onto social media the following month. Sogu" and "Dancer in the Snow" and released their first album "ROMP" in July 2024. released a single "golden lighter" in 2025 and "higher" in April 2026.
