Laura Thorn is a singer from Luxembourg, born in Esch-sur-Alzette on January 20, 2000. A musician since the age of five, she studied piano, violin, music theory, dance and chamber music. After graduating from the Institut Royal Supérieur de Musique et de Pédagogie in Namur, she went on to teach music theory at the Conservatoire d'Esch-sur-Alzette. In 2025, she entered the Luxembourg selections for the Eurovision Song Contest and won the right to take part in the final with the song "La Poupée monte le son". The song written by Julien Salvia and Ludovic-Alexandre Vidal, a reference to "Poupée de cire, poupée de son", which had won the contest sixty years earlier by France Gall representing Luxembourg, finishes in 22nd place in the final held in Basel on May 17, 2025. The song also reached number 12 in Luxembourg.
