Lars Huang, born Huang Zihongfan on April 21, 1999, in Lanzhou, Gansu, China, is a singer. Raised by parents who are professors at Sichuan Normal University, Huang was exposed to music from an early age, primarily classical and folk genres. He studied with tenor singer Dai Yuqiang and professor Zhao Dengying of the Central Conservatory of Music. In 2017, Huang submitted videos of himself singing in multiple languages to different music conservatories and was accepted by several prestigious institutions, ultimately choosing Berklee College of Music to study modern music production and arrangement. Huang's music career began in August 2018 with the release of his first single, "Heavenly Air China" (å½èªå¤©é¦), produced by his father. He participated in the idol competition show Super-Vocal as a member of the tenor group and performed on various tours and variety shows. In February 2021, Huang was signed by CCTV and appeared on numerous programs, including the CCTV Spring Festival Gala. His first EP, If I Wasn't Transparent, was released in 2022. He continued to release EPs and albums, including But I Know It All and Fun! Only in 2024. He has also starred in musicals such as Kiki's Delivery Service and The Strange Stories of the Tang Dynasty: Mandala.
