La Repandilla

La Repandilla, an Argentine cumbia group, was formed in 2004 by vocalist and composer Oscar Belondi after his tenure with bands like Eh Guacho and La Base. The band debuted with the album Kaka Nene in 2004, featuring tracks such as "La Celda" and "La Pibita Fumanchera." Their 2005 live album, Marcando Diferencia, included hits like "Cantinero" and "Un Soñador." In 2008, they released Fantasma, showcasing songs like "La 2da del Pabellón" and "Traka Traka." The 2011 album En la Ciudad de los Vivos featured tracks such as "Condenado por Su Error" and "Cumbia Pal Bailador." Celebrating their dynamic live performances, the 2021 album Subele (En Vivo) captured the group's on-stage energy. Over the years, La Repandilla has collaborated with artists like Nico Mattioli on 2024's "Conmigo Te Gustó" and Hernan Rodriguez on "Me Hubieras Dicho." The band continued performing and releasing new music in the following years, including singles like "Tanto Amor" and "Estaba Aquí Pensando."
